"Life is like learning a language. You never pick up the dictionary and see how many words you have left to learn; you praise, encourage and nurture your skills aspiring to even greater heights. "

Healing with Photography
Healing with Photography courses use photography to take you outside of yourself to be an observer and to examine the limiting thoughts and beliefs that you live your life by; beliefs which may be making you struggle in life.
The courses reduce the effects of depression, anxiety, stress and PTSD, (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), by using photography and other practical techniques. The photography helps to make the discoveries learnt in the course more memorable and gives you a new avenue of expression.
The courses all stem from the core values of Healing with Photography and are tailored to the specific requirements or needs of the person or group using them so that you recieve the maximum benefit for your indvidual problems.
The courses are run worldwide either for groups, or one on one work via the telephone/video conferencing, and of course at our workshop in the beautiful county of Shropshire, where we are delighted to be able to share the healing benefits of the tranquil village of Marbury. We are very proud to run our courses in partnership with Mind, the national mental health charity in the UK, who considers the courses to be unique and valuable to their staff and patrons.
Our founder Ruth Bayley created Healing with Photography from her personal experience of finding a way to overcome PTSD, she wanted to able share the tools of her recovery with others in similar situations and help them to discover a more gentle way to well being. The UK mental health charity Mind, were the first organisation to acknowledge the unique benefits the courses bring to peoples mental health and we are proud to run our courses at their centres.
A qualified landscape photographer with a successful online business, www.ruthbayleyphotography.co.uk, she has spent many years photographing the beautiful village of Marbury, which is now home to her workshop.
